This foundation seriously delivers, & I mean it delivers all day long, and doesn’t take a break. Labeled as a 24 hour foundation I was skeptical of L’Oreal, and while thankfully I’ve never quite made it to the 24 hour mark, I have made it to the 16 hour mark (a Friday for a teacher can be a pretty long day), and it still looked good!
Clearly, as you can tell from the name, this foundation is going to give you a matte finish, an easily blendable matte-pro finish to be exact. It gives flawless coverage without looking cake-y or dry, and it creates the perfect canvas for a highlight, blush, and bronzer.
I’ve used both a Beauty Blender and foundation brush to apply the L’Oreal Infallible Matte- Pro Foundation and both work great. As I said, it’s blends well and you can slowly build coverage and not worry about it looking like too much. It also has a wide variety of color choices, so you’re almost guaranteed to find a perfect match.
This foundation truly has all the makings of a high end beauty product, but with the budget beauty price point. I highly advise you give it a try next time you’re in your local drugstore or Target!
You can use these colors all over your face, which sounds a bit different, but really it makes sense. After all, this is not a highlighter, it’s simply meant to brighten up your skin. I’ve taken a large fluffy brush and mixed up all four colors and applied all over, rather than in certain light hitting spots. I mentioned earlier, and it’s so true, it’s the perfect way to filter your face, sans Instagram.
My favorite two colors are the top ones. I sometimes use the first one as a brow highlight- it brightens up my eyes a bit without looking like I have anything on. The second color is perfect to illuminate the tops of my cheek bones. It has a pinkish color, no shimmer, and this color really gives that soft glow I mentioned earlier.
Perfect for highlighting the brow.
My favorite for applying right on top of the cheek bones for a glow.
The bottom two colors are more bronzy, so using as an eyeshadow or for a little sculpt around the face have been their major uses for me.
Of course, I nicked this one right when I opened the palette, oops!
Try your local drugstore or Target to see if this palette is still available- it has to be somewhere! & for the price, it’s totally worth it as an everyday quickie product.
For my AM routine I always use the Mattifying Toner. It controls shine and has clarifying willowbark as a featured ingredient, which is a natural salicylic acid. Throughout the day I never know what is going to be thrown at me, so I need to have that base from my toner controlling any potential oil issues. After using this toner the rest of my skincare goes on perfectly, and I’m set for applying my makeup.
I’ve been using this toner for a few months now and I’m loving how fresh and clean my skin feels in the morning after I use it. Seeing and feeling the mattifying powders, without having that dry and tightening feeling, makes me feel like this product is really doing its job. This is a definite repurchase.
During my PM routine I reach for the Rosewater Toning Spritz– it feels like a little bit of luxury with the light refreshing rosewater scent before bed. This toner works to tighten pores and purify your face, which is perfect after a long day of wearing makeup. This toner is much more comparable to a “water” type of fluid as opposed to my AM mattifying toner which has more of a texture to it because of the powders. This extra moisture from the Rosewater Toning Spritz helps the rest of my PM skincare absorb into my skin more effectively.
Winter is an awful time for most of us…I’m talking skin wise of course. It’s hard to keep our skin as hydrated as it should be, the harsher elements cause skin to look dry and dull. The Derma E Hydrating Night Crème with Hyaluronic Acid is perfect for this time of year. It helps skin look plump and moisturized, and helps to keep fine lines at bay. Derma e is proud to be one of the natural brands on the market, always staying vegan and cruelty-free, which I very much appreciate. Furthermore, this perfectly priced PM moisturizer also the winner of a Best of Natural Beauty Award!

As someone who colors her hair quite frequently, as in about once a month maintenance, I’m always focusing on the damage that’s being done to my strands. Note I’m saying strands and not scalp…for years I honestly never thought twice about how the products I was using, both styling and color related, were effecting the health of my scalp- I never really cared. It wasn’t until about a year ago that I really needed to change my thinking, especially with the change of seasons, particularly the transition from summer to fall. My scalp was hurting…literally, I was experiencing intense dryness and psoriasis. Not only was it uncomfortable I felt super self-conscious because it looked awful.
I had to share this picture, it’s originally from Snapchat, so sorry about that! But, my hair has never looked this amazing without ANY product in it. This is all the work of the Intense Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner.
