Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum

Before I start explaining how much I love this product, let me make a slight disclaimer. The Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum is an amazing product that will give you fast results, but it’s def not cheap! While I feature a lot of budget buys on my posts, some of my products aren’t the most budget friendly, like this one! Just wanted to throw that out there before you get to the bottom of the post and are thrown off by the price. =)

Okay, now on to the info…

My lovely mother purchased this eye serum for me a little while ago- I was so excited to start using it. I love the Murad brand, it’s one of the reasons I use Massage Envy for my monthly facials, and I know they use only high quality and proven ingredients in their products. This eye serum was new to me, and def not something I’d purchase on my own- although now that I’m out, I might!

The major ingredient in the Youth Renewal Eye Serum would be the retinol, which helps boost collagen and stimulate cell turnover. This is a powerful & essential ingredient for anti-aging skincare routines, but not an ingredient to be played around with. Any and all products containing retinol should only be used in the evening as it causes skin to be more sensitive, and sun exposure is a big no no after use.

In addition to the retinol working to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, the Youth Renewal Serum also has marine kelp which aids in moisturizing, firming, and brightening up the under eye area.

I’m fortunate in that I don’t experience dark circles or fine lines (yet!), but I wanted to show this picture, from the Murad site, of 4 week results when using this product. I can certainly speak for the brightening and firming benefits of the Youth Renewal Eye Serum, and I rely on the retinol as a preventative measure. If you struggle with fine lines around your eyes, I hope this gives you a better idea of how this product may help you combat that issue.

As I mentioned, Murad is a top brand with great products, and this is def one of my favorites by them. As I also mentioned, it’ll cost you more than your average eye cream, but if you feel that under eyes is a problem area for you, it’s more than worth the splurge. For me, it’s all about preventative maintenance, which is why I will be repurchasing. If you need results quickly, I think this product will absolutely deliver on

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Phase Serum

We all know I love my Budget Beauty finds, but I’m also a big fan of high quality, timeless, brands and their products. Clarins is one of those brands that I love for both skincare and makeup. I always find myself at the Clarins in my local Nordstrom, and I’ve been introduced to, and purchasing, a lot of their products recently. This product, the Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Phase Serum, however, I was lucky enough to snag through Influenster! If you’re unfamiliar with Influenster, check out what it is, and how you can join, here!

Anyway, back to today’s feature…the Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Phase Serum

Using a serum during both your AM and PM skincare routine is key for keeping skin nourished with great vitamins and antioxidants, hydrated, and bright. My skin has changed so much over the past couple of years and I’ve noticed I’ve been a bit on the drier side recently. So, I’ve been on the hunt for some hydrating products to help give my skin the boost it needs to stay bright and nourished. The Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Phase Serum has been an amazing addition to my PM skincare routine, especially for my rosacea.

Derma E Rejuvenating Sage & Lavender Face Oil

Essentials Radiance Toner

Advanced Peptide and Collagen Moisturizer

I know people can be super apprehensive about face oil, especially if you have oily skin. It makes sense to be a bit nervous about putting an oil on your face if you feel as though you struggle with having an oily face! I’m here to tell you not to be afraid, facial oil can actually be great for oily skin, and is beneficial for all skin types.

Mad Hippie Hydrating Nutrient Mist

Months ago I was so appreciative to Mad Hippie sending me a nice little package in the mail. I wrote about, and have since used up, the Vitamin C Serum, which I highly recommend, it’s absolutely amazing! Today I’m here to review another Mad Hippie product, their Hydrating Nutrient Mist– which honesty has mixed online reviews. Let’s get into it…

Derma E’s Advanced Peptide & Collagen Moisturizer

A couple of weeks ago I posted about the Derma E toner I’ve been using daily, read about it, here. Today, I’m going to be featuring yet another Derma E product! Full disclosure, I’m a part of the Derma E Squad, I have lots of products from them that I’ll be reviewing on here. The good news is, I’m loving all of them & I cannot wait to continue to share the brand with y’all!

The Advanced Peptide & Collagen Moisturizer has been a lifesaver for me during this wacky D.C. weather. One week we’re feeling the polar vortex. The next week it’s 60 degrees. That’s a huge change for our skin, and you need some great products to keep the extremes at bay. This moisturizer is ready for the fight, it’s filled with peptides, which are great at combating wrinkles and boosting collagen production.

Keeping on my vitamin C and antioxidant kick, this product is packed with both, which help to keep lips soft and hydrated.

Face Mask Monday: Glam Glow BubbleSheet Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask

The first Face Mask Monday of 2019 is going to Glam Glow’s trademarked BubbleSheet Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask…say that 5 times fast.

This mask is a tad different than your average sheet mask, because it’s a cleanser mask, not a serum, so you do need to wash it off after use. Don’t let the little bit of extra work deter you though- this is a must have if you’re looking to clear up a break out, or if you’ve hd a rough couple of days and need a total skin reset.

If you are unfamiliar with the Glam Glow brand, take a minute to read through their About Us page. I’ve listened to a few podcasts with the founder, Shannon, and I love how this brand has come to be a staple, and a huge lifesaver, for so many people. I’ve used a few of their masks, mostly large samples, and I’ve loved everything I’ve tried. It was my first time using one of their sheet masks though, and just as I figured, I thought it was great!

Budget Beauty: Simple Hydrating Booster

Happy Monday!  Can you believe it’s already December?!  2019 is right around the corner, and to be honest, it’s kinda freaking me out.  Anyway, I digress.  I’m here today to share a great Budget Beauty product, and excellent stocking stuffer, the Simple Hydrating Booster.

Simple is a great skincare brand that stays true to its name.  If you have sensitive skin, or strongly dislike any scented skincare products, Simple is def for you.  I’m a huge fan of their micellar water, and now I’ve been hooked on this hydrating booster too!
