The first Face Mask Monday of 2019 is going to Glam Glow’s trademarked BubbleSheet Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask…say that 5 times fast.
This mask is a tad different than your average sheet mask, because it’s a cleanser mask, not a serum, so you do need to wash it off after use. Don’t let the little bit of extra work deter you though- this is a must have if you’re looking to clear up a break out, or if you’ve hd a rough couple of days and need a total skin reset.
If you are unfamiliar with the Glam Glow brand, take a minute to read through their About Us page. I’ve listened to a few podcasts with the founder, Shannon, and I love how this brand has come to be a staple, and a huge lifesaver, for so many people. I’ve used a few of their masks, mostly large samples, and I’ve loved everything I’ve tried. It was my first time using one of their sheet masks though, and just as I figured, I thought it was great!

Happy Monday! Can you believe it’s already December?! 2019 is right around the corner, and to be honest, it’s kinda freaking me out. Anyway, I digress. I’m here today to share a great Budget Beauty product, and excellent stocking stuffer, the Simple Hydrating Booster.
Simple is a great skincare brand that stays true to its name. If you have sensitive skin, or strongly dislike any scented skincare products, Simple is def for you. I’m a huge fan of their micellar water, and now I’ve been hooked on this hydrating booster too!

I’m a huge fan of Good Morning America, I watch about the first 15 minutes every morning before leaving for work, so I get caught up on current affairs, and that’s about it. One thing Good Morning America is known for is their Deals & Steals segment, where brands sell products at deeply discounted prices, with a promo code, just for GMA watchers. My Mom is a huge fan of this segment, and thought of me when GMA featured the brand Tokyo Milk one morning. She got me a bunch of Tokyo Milk goodies, shoutout to my momma, and I’m taking the time today and tomorrow to review them for you all! I think these products are perfect for gift giving this holiday season, they’re luxurious products that don’t break the bank.
I had never heard of Tokyo Milk before my Mom mentioned them to me, so I was, of course, excited to try out a new brand. Tokyo Milk is a brand by Margot Elena, and upon visiting the website, I noticed that they’re affiliated with brands I’ve seen at Anthropologie. So, to me, that means they’re pretty darn good. Tokyo Milk has a great Indie boutique vibe, and the packaging is awesome. It’s mostly a perfume brand, and can be found at Sephora and Morphe, but I’m focusing on reviewing some of their moisturizers today, they’re much more in the gift giving price range!

A couple weeks ago I wrote a post talking about my collab with Virginic Skincare. The giveaway for a Virginic Activated Charcoal Powder is supposed to end tomorrow, but I’ve decided to extend the giveaway until Thursday! You can read the post & enter here, or through Rafflecopter below!

In addition to the Activated Charcoal Powder, Virginic was kind enough to pass along their Sweet Almond Oil Makeup Remover for me to try out as well. Makeup remover should be the first step in any nighttime routine, it preps the skin for your cleanser and creates a great base for the rest of your nighttime product.

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you know I enjoy featuring small business skincare brands. I’ve partnered up with many through the years, and I’m excited to add another small skincare business to the Love. Life. Beauty. family!
Virginic Skincare reached out to me, and I was so excited to collab once I saw their products! They were kind enough to send over two products for me to test out, the Activated Charcoal Powder, which I’m sharing today, and the Sweet Almond Cleanser, which you’ll read about next week.

Okay Milk…I see you being fancy…
…and I’m loving it!!
During the last Sephora sale I purchased the Milk Matcha Toner, it’s a green stick toner that I was instantly drawn to. Yes, this is way different than your average toner, but it’s just so cool and works so well! Here are a few key reasons I’ve recently been reaching for this toner in the AM.
Okay first of all, it’s a solid toner, have you seen such a thing before? I know I haven’t. What I do know is that this cuts down on me using a cotton pad every morning to apply my toner, and that’s awesome. I simply swipe this stick all over my face, paying special attention to my t-zone and chin area. It feels so cooling and fresh on my skin, which is exactly what I’m looking for at 6:15am.

I haven’t done a Face Mask Monday in a while, so I thought today would be the perfect day to share one of my favorite budget beauty face masks with you! Not only is the L’Oreal Pure Clay Mask Clear & Comfort face mask inexpensive, but the texture & application process is great!
L’Oreal has been killin it with their product lineup lately. From face & hair masks, to new exfoliating scrubs, L’Oreal has been doing an awesome job producing high quality products at a perfect price point. This fun, blue, mask is seaweed clay based and only needs to sit for 10 minutes before washing off. I love applying this mask right after a shower, and hangin’ in my robe for 10 minutes before needing to take it off.

The summer heat can lead to easy breakouts. Whether it’s from sweat, sunscreen, or just the daily oil slick that somehow forms on our faces, hot & muggy days can produce pore clogging events. Nobody has time for that ‘ish, so in comes one of my latest favorite Budget Beauty products, the Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Foam!
This is a deep cleansing foam that I’ve been using at night, after removing my makeup. It’s good for all skin types, and really gets into those pores to clean and degunk them from the long day. I haven’t noticed any drying whatsoever, which may be because I generally have more oily skin, but since it’s geared toward all skin types, I don’t think drying should be a concern.

A while go I gave myself a little Ulta Haul…I didn’t go crazy, but I did pick up a few fun items. I was in desperate need of some bath bombs, and def not in desperate need of some sheet masks, but bought some anyway!
First up, the Fizz & Bubble Artisan Bath Fizzy bath bombs. I bought five, each one would perfectly fit any of my moods on a given night. First, I chose Hawaiian Lei, which smells like amazing spring & summer flowers. It’s so light and refreshing, perfect for a summertime bath. The second one I chose is the Oatmeal, Milk, & Honey which I think is perfect to have on the back burner just in case I get a leeeeetle bit of a sunburn this summer. These three ingredients will def tone down any burn I have, all in a nice & relaxing bubble bath of course. Third bath bomb up is the Lavender Fields which will be perfect after a long day, or the next morning after a long night. Lavender is one of my favorite scents, and this bath bomb smells so good!

I love Neutrogena products- the quality is great, I see results when I use them, and most importantly they’re affordable! I jumped at the chance to work with Neutrogena on their latest It’s in the Gel campaign, focusing on their new 100% HydroGel sheet mask line.
