Thursday’s Fab Five

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July Weekend!!  I’m still on weekend time & I cannot believe it’s already Thursday.  I’ve been loving quite a few things the past couple of weeks, check them out below and let me know what you think on my Twitter or Instagram!  Make sure you’re following me on Snapchat too, @elizabethmayce =)
Thursday's Fab Five

& since I reference Ebates in this post…let me give you my quick spiel on why I love the program so much…

If you’re not an Ebates member yet, you’re missing out on major cash back opportunities!  You can sign up through this link to receive $10 as a sign up bonus after your first purchase!  Installing an add on to your search bar makes it so easy to activate the Ebates link when you’re shopping, Ebates will alert you to activate the cash back link when you visit the site, so no need to remember which sites allow Ebates and which don’t.  Seriously, in total, I’ve earned about $200 in cash back since I started using & I have the money I’ve earned directly deposited into my savings account when Ebates does their payouts.  I highly suggest becoming a member, it literally pays off!!
I’ve been at the beach and the pool a lot lately, and it’s important to always wear sunscreen.  I use SPF 30 because I do want to get some color when I’m out, but of course I don’t want to burn.  It might sound annoying to have to do, but I reapply this often to make sure I’m building color without building a burn.  I’ve found this works great, I’m a huge fan of Neutrogena sunscreen!  PS: Ulta is having a buy one, get one 50% off promotion right now…& if you shop with Ebates you’ll earn 3% cash back.
I love Pacifica, they’re an affordable brand (i.e. you can find them at Ulta & Target) and they’ve come out with some great products lately.  If you’re at the beach all day and need to transition to dinner time, but aren’t going back home to shower, etc. I love using these wipes to freshen up after a day in the sun.  It’s not always ideal to carry deodorant in your beach bag, it’ll most likely melt and be gross, so these deodorant wipes are perfect to use instead.  The coconut milk + kale extract is my favorite so far!
I just finished this book, and it was incredible.  As a woman, and as a woman in education, I knew I needed to read this book to learn more about the amazing and heroic story of Malala Yousafzai, who was shot by the Taliban, simply for going to school.  Her family background is incredible, and her journey is so inspiring.  This is a great summer read if you’re looking for some girl power and want to learn a thing or two on how to be awesome and true to your beliefs.
*The price is for the Kindle edition, which I always prefer because I can read my books on my iPhone or iPad!

During the summer I love using a body scrub if I’ve been sweating, feel oily, etc.  Since summertime can also mean possibly sunburnt skin, or peeling, you don’t want to use anything too harsh that’ll irritate.  The Satsuma Body Polish is an exfoliant that I find to be super light while getting rid of any dead skin cells.  It’s moisturizing from the Satsuma oil, which is great if you’ve been out in the sun for a while, & the gel texture is cool and calming.  Right now The Body Shop has this product on sale from $20, to $12, which is an incredible buy!  & using Ebates will earn you an additional 4% cash back!

I’ve been bringing this beach tote everywhere with me!!  One of my friends actually made me a personalized version of this bag using her die cut machine…and I am so obsessed with it…see picture below!  The bag is huge, it’s sturdy enough to fit all my beach/ pool needs, the pineapple is ridiculously cute, and if you’re cool and crafty, you can easily turn this into an awesome gift for someone!
